GST

Recovered ₹4.2L in blocked input credit for a Mumbai trader

The challenge
A Mumbai trading business came to us after months of mismatched GST returns had blocked a chunk of their input tax credit. Their previous provider filed returns without reconciling against GSTR-2B.
What we did
We reconciled twelve months of purchases against 2B, identified the mismatches, coordinated with suppliers to correct filings, and recovered the credit, while putting a monthly reconciliation process in place so it never recurs.
₹4.2 lakh input credit recovered; zero mismatches since.
Income Tax

Saved a salaried professional ₹1.1L by fixing their regime choice

The challenge
A Bangalore IT professional had been defaulting to the new tax regime for two years, unaware that their home loan, 80C investments and HRA made the old regime far more beneficial.
What we did
We computed both regimes for the current and prior years, switched them to the old regime, and filed a revised return for the earlier year to claim back the excess.
₹1.1 lakh saved across two years; correct regime every year since.
Company

Incorporated and made compliant a Pune startup in 9 days

The challenge
A Pune founder needed to incorporate quickly to sign a client contract, but was worried about getting post-incorporation compliance right, auditor appointment, INC-20A, and the rest.
What we did
We handled the full incorporation, DSC and DIN, appointed the first auditor within the window, filed INC-20A, and set up their GST and TAN, all inside nine working days.
Company live in 9 days; every first-year filing on time.
Virtual CFO

Gave a growing D2C brand board-ready numbers in month one

The challenge
A fast-growing D2C brand was flying blind, running on a bank balance with no real visibility into margins or cash runway, and an investor conversation approaching.
What we did
We closed their books, built monthly MIS, a 13-week cash-flow forecast and a board pack, and sat with the founders to interpret the numbers before their raise.
Investor-ready in one month; funding closed on schedule.
Audit

Turned a rushed audit into a clean, on-time sign-off for a Nagpur manufacturer

The challenge
A mid-sized manufacturer came to us in September with disorganised records and a statutory audit due, their previous auditor had flagged issues but offered no fixes.
What we did
We scoped the risks, ran fieldwork online, reconciled stock and fixed assets, and walked the management through every finding before finalising. We delivered a UDIN-backed report with a plain-language management letter.
Audit signed off before 30 September; control gaps fixed for next year.
TDS

Cleared ₹1.8L in TRACES defaults for a Delhi employer

The challenge
A Delhi company had accumulated TDS default notices on TRACES from short-deductions and challan mismatches across several quarters, with interest mounting.
What we did
We reconciled every quarter against Form 26AS, filed correction statements, resolved the short-deductions, and set up a deduction calendar so the returns stay clean going forward.
₹1.8 lakh in defaults cleared; no new notices since.
MSME

Saved a buyer ₹6L in tax by fixing 43B(h) MSME payment timing

The challenge
A trading company was about to close its year with large unpaid dues to micro and small suppliers, unaware that Section 43B(h) would disallow the expense and inflate its taxable income.
What we did
We identified the MSME-registered vendors, prioritised payments before 31 March, and put written 45-day agreements in place, so the deductions stayed in the current year rather than deferring.
Roughly ₹6 lakh kept as a current-year deduction; year-end surprise avoided.
Company

Rescued a company from ROC penalties and director risk

The challenge
A private limited company had missed AOC-4 and MGT-7 filings for two years, exposing the directors to per-day penalties and possible disqualification.
What we did
We reconstructed the financials, filed the pending returns with the applicable additional fees, brought the DIN KYC current, and set up a compliance calendar so nothing lapses again.
Company brought fully compliant; director disqualification avoided.
NRI

Guided an NRI through a property sale with correct TDS and repatriation

The challenge
An NRI selling a flat in India faced a large TDS deduction under Section 195 and confusion over how to repatriate the proceeds without overpaying tax.
What we did
We computed the actual capital gain, arranged a lower-deduction certificate so TDS matched the real liability rather than the gross value, and guided the 15CA/15CB remittance.
TDS aligned to the real gain; excess deduction of several lakh avoided.
